I have a set of 2 Pioneer large speakers. On the tag it says Impedence 6 ohms, 120 watts.
Am I going to be able to use a receiver that says to use speakers from 8 ohms to 16 ohms, and the power tag says 240 watts?
you must not use lower impedances that indicates your amplifier, using lower impedance speakers will rise current flowing through amplifier´s output transistors , this high current could damage output transistors, your 6 ohms speakes should be used on amplifier capable to admit speakers from 4 ohms.
