Anyone familiar with the Bose 108787 Spatial Control Receiver?
Specifically, I have a Bose 108787 Spatial Control Receiver with a problem with its power switch circuit.
This receiver uses a touch sensitive Bose emblem on the front of the unit, which triggers a solenoid that, in turn, triggers a switch that turns the receiver on.
What happens is that, if you plug the unit in and turn the master switch on the rear of the unit to the "on" position, the solenoid stays locked down and stuck. A few moments pass and the solenoid may begin to go on and off, turning the receiver on and off. Eventually, it will stop going on and off, slowing down until the switcher starts working normally; touching the Bose emblem turns the receiver on and touching it again turns it off.
Replaced all electrolytics in the circuit and also reflowed all joints on the circuit. No dice.
Appreciate any leads. Thanks.
