Cleaning receiver circuit board

I'm in the process of restoring a Kenwood KR-4070. The power switch was the first item to be replaced. The next item to be addressed is a complete cleaning of the whole circuit board. It currently has a nice coat of dust and grime all over.

Any suggestions on how to go about a wholesale cleaning? I'm tempted to just dunk the whole unit into a big bucket of isopropl alcohol to get all of the grime off.

Any suggestions?

Re: Cleaning receiver circuit board

I use alcohol and a toothbrush. Prop one end up so it drains off. Also, I use an air compressor to make sure everything is dry before powering up. Rubbing alcohol has water in it, and takes longer to dry.
