Hi, a my friend tell me about your Denon PMA-260, that have a problem on phono input, while the others input work fine. I would to see the service before to disassembly the amplifier. Someone have this service manual ?
The PMA-260 service manual is not on hifiengine, but the 280 manual is. It shows that the plus and minus 15 volts for the phono pre-amp comes from TR501,2. I would check for these voltages at the phono pre-amp IC; it should be easy to find--just trace the phono jacks to the circuit board. If the + and - 15 volts are there, I would suspect the op-amp IC is bad. After that, check all electrolytic capacitors.
Fine.. thank you for advice, I check it
You think that the pre-phono PMA-260 it's the same of PMA-280 ?
Hi, the service is similar no extacly the same, i saw the bias is 12 mV in R channel and 19 mV in right channel on TP 1 and TP2. in the manual of PMA-280.
My amplifier 2SC3584 and 2SA1490 but in the service manual there are 2SC3853 and 2SA1489
Someone know the correct bios current ? And than, voltage to voltmeter on test point ?
