Receiver power consumption for off-grid cabin
I'm looking for a receiver to use in an off-grid cabin with limited solar electric power. I've been looking at some of the Pioneer SX-6xx series receivers. The SX-680 is rated at a max power consumption of 90-95 watts and 30 watts output. My first question is what power the receiver would draw when operating at a very quiet background listening level. Second question is whether a receiver of the same general design but higher maximum power (example SX-780, rated at 45 watts output and 150 watts input) would draw more power when operating at the same quiet level as the SX-680.
