I got a Sony TA-150 amp which has an STK 460 and it turns on and the dials work but I checked the speaker lines there was an dc voltage in it. What to do. Shall I plug the speakers or not
There should be very little or no DC voltage on the speaker outputs. 30 or 50mv maybe (that's less than a 2 hundredth of a volt). If you must connect it to speakers, use 470 uf capacitors in series with the + output to block DC.
DC on the outputs means the module is bad.
There was 3V DC in the speaker line
