This is the TEAC AG V4200 I write to inquire if there is a way to address broken speaker wire connectors/ i.e. black/red clips on the back of the unit. Guidance sought
Had similar on a Pioneer not long back - part NLA & the terminals blocks were a bit special & could not find a substitute for them - I had to solder wires direct to the board or the old broken terminals & put an external speaker connection on.It looked not to bad after the repair & at least we saved the amp from the scrap heap:-)
Teac may still have the connectors, or you might get a junk unit on eBay (the shipping would be prohibitive though). Try finding a Teac authorized repair station to see if they have any junk decks (in places like CA it is illegal to sell used electronic parts).
