I happen to own one of these classic old single rail amps. Although probably not the last word in hifi, it is a very nice sounding amplifier, and the phono stage (to my ears) has a certain something. I have replaced certain key electolytic caps in it, and I just love its sound when playing vinyl. The caps involved were the input caps in the phono stage, 0.47uF 50v, now 10uF 25v. These were both fairly stuffed with very high ESR, and having lost most of their capacitance. There were also 2 caps replaced on the power amp/power supply board. These I think were 33uF, and were in the power supply section.
