re: MC2205 (McIntosh) Amp

Hello to all,
About three years ago, I picked up a working (define it better) MC-2205 Power Amp and its companion Control Center C-32. The Power amp has an intermittent speaker problem as well as a non-working meter bridge. I am wondering what would be involved in getting everything functioning 100% on the Power Amp? Also, I'm going to need cabinets for both as these did not accompany the units when I acquired them. While I haven't fully checked out the C-32 as thoroughly, I'm hoping it will be in better shape. I know that these units were mid to late 70's models as the C-32 is equipped to be used in a Quadraphonic system in conjunction with a Power Amp. While quite heavy, I would still be in favor of fixing up the Power Amp as opposed to chucking it. Hope some others reading the Engine have some experiences and can relate to me what to do.

Regards,

William Wright
