Perfect, just what I require to fix my amp.
Best of all, it was "FREE". = Thanks.
IC601
Hi - thanks for the manual. Anyone else find that they have a different IC601 than shown on schematic and parts list? My STR-DE197 S/N 8874163 has an STK350-030 which is quite a bit different than the STK350-430 in the manual. Trying to track down a "Protect" mode failure triggered somewhere in Left Channel. Unit will operate OK single channel if you pull the left outputs Q703 and Q704 - both test OK and were replaced to no avail. There is B+ rail on the inputs to these finals with them pulled so it must be coming from the pre driver IC601. That's when I encountered the different STK part in the unit vs schematic. I don't think someone subbed it since the 030 has in line pins and the 430 look staggered from the manual. Thanks for any feedback.

How in the heck do I program the radio stations? When I hit search, it just keeps going, never stopping at any stations. I don't have a instruction manual.

FWIW, Sony's got a downloadable manual for this one (at least Sony Europe does).
A decent aerial is connected, I hope? Does it pick up stations well when tuned manually?
