I had one of those for over ten years when it was new. A potential loudspeaker killer, but great when paired with two Canton GLE 100. I used it with the AT-2600 tuner, a GX-265D reel-to-reel (which, like the Cantons, is still in use, albeit rarely), some Akai cassette deck (CS-702D or similar), and a CEC 2200 turntable, later replaced by a Beogram 2200 (the numerical similarity of the two being pure coincidence).
The price was lower middle class back then and for that, the value was excellent. Call me shallow, but I loved the VU-meters :)

Good looking, Powerfull real 60 Watts, nice sounding, full metal with wooden top cover. Sound may be compared to tube amplifiers. I have it for more than ten years now and I have enjoyed every minute of the music.

This is a h excellent amp. its very powerfull
and is a good match with my sound dynamic
Love the silver face look with double needle meters.
I also set it up with no filters, no loudness and tone on. the sound is excellent with jazz, diana
krall or elp or my favorite, Wings over America.

AM2600 Tone defeat on, all filters off, loudness off, phono input from an Audio Technica MM cartridge at 3.5v and 47k, driving Bowers and Wilkins DM2a's on main and Bowers and Wilkins DM4's on second output. A nice match for these speakers, DM2a come properly alive with the amp running half pelt, DM4's vocals and highs are sublime, give the volume knob a tweak round to number 11 and the DM2a's open up into a full gallop, the first time they've sounded how they should, music Nirvana. Not even opened the AKAI up yet to see if its ever been serviced which I doubt, absolutely nothing to complain about at the price you can pick these things up for.

Decent integrated with okish phono stage.
Solid build. It looks a bit like a Kenwood
of that age but it doesnt have that quality.
Used often way overpriced offered.
