Akai's ultimate in 4-channel stereo receivers is the new AS-980 - nothing has been left out.

Sophisticated features include 3 separate 4-channel modes (Discrete, SQ, RM) plus individual CD-4 separation controls, slide rule main balance control, separate bass, treble and balance controls for front and rear speakers, 3 tape monitors, tape dubbing, meter level switching, FM muting, audio muting, high and low filters, automatic preset volume control, front panel remote control, and separate signal and tuning meters.

Great amp, had it paired with 4 Akai 6 component speakers and a 4 channel reel to reel with it's own amp and a reverb. Awesome.
