The Akai HX-M77R is a mid sized stereo cassette deck equipped with a microcomputer.

It has a quick reverse system with symmetrical BSP mechanism for stable transport characteristics in both directions

Other features include a microcomputer controlled mode change, interface auto function control system, Dolby B/C noise reduction system, random program play system, intro scan, direct synchro recording, auto mute and a large centralized FL display.
