This Grundig is an outstanding integrated amplifier, that sounds amazingly well, although it was 'just' the entry-level model of the 7000 range. Built between 1983 and 1984, this unit may look unpretentious but sounds like a real high end gem. To achieve that, though, the amplifier must be kept in its original form because its hidden electronic/chassis subtleties can be easily damaged, while being serviced. Pair it with an high quality source and an equally good pair of speakers and you'll be amazed by its glamorous, detailed and warm sound that brings real 'life' to your room. The rare Grundig CD 7500 and Box 850a [of the same manufacturer], for instance, are a perfect match to this amplifier. The Grundig V7000 desearves 10 stars!
