The Infinity RSM speakers are a solid 8 when it comes to a balance between performance, build quality, and market value. I have owned JBL L65 Jubals in mint shape that are not as good. Ergo, you could easily spend double or triple of the market value and not get the same sonic enjoyment. My main speakers are Vandersteen 3A's and I have also owned the 2C's. My system has plenty of power to drive these, and what blows my mind is that the RSM holds its own very well. There is a noticeable difference between these speakers with the EMIT tweeter producing sweeter high frequency sound and the 12 inch woofers produce a tight and strong bass line — I honestly can't believe they are rated only down to 43Hz on this site. The midrange are the weakest link in this setup (IMHO), but that doesn't mean they don't sound good. It only means that with a little better mid, these speakers would jump up to a 9 out of 10.
