Bar none one of the best receivers I've ever used. Its JVC high quality sound. Very well constructed, nothing today would touch it as far as durability goes with the power produces.

Mine is still up and running, bought the recommended JVC speakers with it
back in 1975. Sound is rich and truly a 26W per channels with no distortion.
Used for parties, the overload relay would kick in before you could kill the beast.
Did kill two tweeters with this abuse, my fault of course.
Rarely used the discrete 4 channels capabilities but it was an excellent surround sound
system for the era.
I had to replace some dried up electrolytic capacitors on the power amp board.
To be expected after 40 years...
