Stereo Cassette Deck (1978)
The KD-65 is a priced-down version of the KD-85, minus such extravagances as full logic control and 2-motor drive.
However, the KD-65 employs a precision frequency generator servomotor for both the capstan and reels in the sophisticated arrangement for speed accuracy.
It also offers all the high standard and basic parameters you get with the KD-85, including low wow and flutter of less than 0.06% wrms.
The same display and circuit used in the KD-85 is incorporated in the KD-65. This design not only improves recording quality by warning of saturation causing high recording level, especially in high frequencies, but also allows you to visually monitor frequency spectra, but makes recording and playback with a visual pleasure.

im not one for flashing lights or other gimmicks but sometimes i can make an exception. this is a damn fine cassette deck. large power gauges tape equalization and bias type large substantial controls super anrs noise reduction and yes an led spectrum analyzer. this one has almost any feature you can name. there are alot of decks that can beat this one but they cost ten times the price if not more generally. i wont be replacing this in my stack its beautiful and it works
