Auto Reverse Cassette Deck (1983)

add a review add a review

Here's a cassette deck only JVC can offer, for only JVC has advanced features like the Spectro Peak Indicator and the SA head to help you make the best possible recordings every time.

These two features are teamed up with a raft of others including Dolby C type noise reduction, a logic control mechanism, Music Scan and much more. The KD-V35 is one deck that seems to have it all.

Now you can record and listen to both sides of a tape automatically - no more flipping over the tape at the end of a side. JVC's new swivel head that provides precise response in both direction of tape travel makes this super convenience possible. The quick reverse action takes no more than 0.7 seconds.

The SPI (Spectro Peak Indicator) is actually eight meters in one easy to read display. Five meters show peak levels at each of five frequencies. Two more indicate VU readings for each of the stereo channels, and the eighth meter indicates peak levels of the composite of all frequencies.

You'll find the SPI to be an easy to use recording aid that enables you to create top notch recordings every time.

Our new logic control mechanism uses neither clumsy mechanical levers nor noisy solenoids. That's why the KD-V35 gives you smooth, silent and comfortable soft-touch operation.

The JVC SA record/play head will retain peak performance for years since it is practically immune to wear. It also pampers your music with low distortion and low noise performance, and provides superb high frequency response. It's the perfect head formulation to get the best sound possible from metal tapes.

Tape hiss is the bane of all recordists, but today we've conquered it with Dolby C noise reduction. Even the softest passages come through crystal clear, for noise (hiss) is automatically reduced by up to 20dB between 1kHz and 10kHz, while dynamic headroom is improved.

When you touch the Play button and then the RW (or FF) button, you are quickly whisked right to the beginning of the next song, or back to the beginning of the song currently in play. In this manner it's easy to locate any particular song on the tape.
