The Calinda was an 8 inch two-way system with an auxiliary (passive) radiator augmenting the low frequency response. This format was also used previously in the Cadenza and Reference 104.
The low frequency is very well defined while the tweeter provide a well defined high without being shrill. Where this speaker excel the most, is in the mid-range. The rendition of voices is superb.
