Pair purchased new in 1983. Other than annually blowing out dust bunnies and cleaning fan no other PM performed. After 31 years pulled from rack, PM'd and stress-tested by ethical and respected A/V service specialist using MTE with valid calibration tags.
Two cold-solder joints on input PCB were found and reflowed with MultiCore 3.5% silver solder (F'-RHoS!). Hitachi beer can electrolytics tested in-spec so were not replaced.
Using Audio Precision APX-555, Report of Test shows 410W and 422W respectively into 8 Ohms resistive, 20Hz-20KHz to distortion spec of 0.020%. First time I ever heard fan(s) at full speed. Quite amazed and very pleased.
