A wonderful Luxman valve amp, improving on their SQ38FD but with a few weaknesses in design like the heaters for the 7 smaller valves are just not good enough & the poor speaker connectors. Beyond that, an upgrader's dream to elevate it to a far mightier beast.

Other service manuals give incorrect info from other amps, only HFE has the correct one as the schematic. to bias is easy enough, set the EL34 bias voltage & then balance on the other pot as marked to get both in the pair correct.
