At the heart of an AV system, the PM683 offers comprehensive switching for audio and video components, and additional audio and video inputs for a TV, CDV player and two video recorders (one with full monitoring).

Dedicated amplifiers are provided to take full advantage of Dolby Surround Sound derived from suitable software reproduced by any Hi-Fi VCR or CDV player.

A seven band equalizer with spectrum analyser gives wide creative control over the sound balance, with an acoustic memory keeping track of surround mode, equalizer settings, volume and balance.
