The SD585 is a full logic controlled, double reverse recording cassette deck allowing parallel or continuous recording for up to 3 hours.

It features a quick photo-sensed auto reverse to give switching from one direction of replay and record immediately.

Two speed dubbing is possible for quick tape transfer.

Random programme dubbing is possible for up to 16 tracks. The recording deck will wait in pause mode until the right track is found for recording in the desired order.

To give the best quality recordings the SD585 has both Dolby B and C noise reduction systems.

Mike mixing and timer standby for unattended recordings make it the last word in performance.
