Very good preamplifier, seems to be fairly neutral in passing audio. Difficult to beat at the price they go for.
Another feature that I like is that only the LED for the function that you're using is lit, no AM/FM display til you choose it, blank face, only one lit LED.
Drives a Dynaco ST-70 and Hafler DH-200 most of the time. Not bright at all, even when cranking the treble to maximum and bass to mininmum.
Has more than enough low end, I find myself turning the bass way down so it doesn't thump my listening room.
All of the input levels are very closely matched, meaning when switching sources the output remains the same, no re-adjusting the volume control.
I've had it apart and it's a high quality build.
I consider it -entry level high end gear-.
I recomment this one, if you get one you may not go back to your more expensive gear, it's that good.
