This is a nice receiver. The looks are great with a panel of buttons in the Nak. Dragon tape deck form. Orange display. Full function remote. Nice MM phono section and pre out for use with a power amp. (I'm using a Hafler DH200 I assembled in the '80's). The tuner is ok, FM could be more sensitive though. Stereo can be switched off for weak noisy stations. Variable loudness control is sweet along with defeatable tone controls. I'm using it as a second system on the porch with Polk Monitor 5 speakers and I think it sounds great. Don't expect Audio Research tube sound quality but for a vast majority the RE 2 would be all you would need.
All in all a really nice receiver with features not many budget receivers have today. If you find one buy it. I did and am pleased.
