AM/FM Stereo Tuner (1980)
The NT-990 is a blend of impeccable Nikko electronics design with advanced ease-of-operation.
The quartz-lock system for precise tuning allows the local oscillator frequency to change in determined steps of 50kHz or 200kHz for FM.
Once tuned, the station never goes out of tune if temperature and humidity should change.
The preset memory feature makes 6 FM and 6 AM stations available for instant recall at the touch of a button.
Tuning is accomplished by two buttons (Up and Down), and when the tuner is set for FM Auto, a strong signal station is automatically tuned in.
Other features include a large, illuminated power on/off switch that glows amber when lit and Hi-Blend Switch used to cancel hiss noise which is often audible. on weak-signal stations.
