Seems to be also sold as TA-2250. Same look, same data, same schematic....can tell this, because I own a TA-2250, that needed some electrical repair. If light is on but no further operation possible, check R 905. Should be replaced with a 1W type. When replaced, there should be 5V at wiring E on the logic board.
The capstan motor will sometimes run out of lubrication, then it will be noisy.
The Deck itself plays and sounds better than average. The line out amp seems to be a little weak on low impedance amp inputs.
