re: VSX-504S

I picked one of these up along with a Pioneer 6-disc changer. Anyone know what type of cord is used to connect the "Control" together on the two Pioneer components? Looks like a 1/8th" pin like a headset but not sure if it's mono or a stereo type or if it matters. My CD player doesn't have the IR and can only be controlled with a remote with this patch cord to the 504S receiver.

Also...the receiver sounds awesome! I am using a Fisher RS-737 receiver of the same vintage for my home stereo now. Anyone know the comparison of the two? I like the interface on the Fisher better but used it since new in 1995.

Thanks all...

re: VSX-504S

Nothing technical to offer yet however this machine has been in my closet since 1995 along with 2 Bose cabinets I intend resurrecting and since the books have long since not to be found , You have my sincere gratitude and if reporting on the results will be enjoyed, I shall joyful do so.
In advance thanks so much!
