Like so many earlier SANSUI models, this c.1989 model is 'royalty' amongst Analogue sounding integrated amplifiers. Its orange coloured backlighting on all buttons, except for the volume, is a nod to the pop culture of the 1980s. All else, is pristinely analogue. It's my favourite for listening to remastered CDs of the DECCA Phase 4 and Reader's Digest back catalogues from the 1960s and 1970s. Just give it a listen and you'll have your breath taken away! I had the rear cable connection upgraded to a universal socket and the speaker terminals changed to the more common screw in and shotgun receptacle type. I'm currently applying a combination of Crystalpower Reference and Nordost Blue Heaven to the AUX711 and the result is Heavenly...better than the original vinyl...!
