Sansui SDM-1

With the Sansui SDM-1 unidirectional dynamic microphone, you can get the full performance capabilities of your tape deck.

Since the SDM-1 picks up sound from the front while cancelling undesired noises arriving from the back and sides, you can control the effect of objectionable background noise and highly reverberant room acoustics.

Further, when making the stereophonic recording of a musical group, for example, you can isolate individual sections or instruments and get greater flexibility of sound balance.

The Sansui SDM -1 has these special features:

Best performance characteristics ever - designed for use with the Sansui SD-7000 and other high-quality tape decks.

Unidirectional design - advantageous for suppressing undesired noises arriving from other than the front and for reducing the sound feedback from a loudspeaker into the microphone.

Dynamic moving-coil type - ideal for quality stereo recording especially where ruggedness is required.

Dual impedance design - matches both low and high impedance inputs of the amplifier.
