I know it sounds fan-boyish, but this is one incredible piece of electronics. I had a perfectly good Sony 6046A hooked up to LSI-1 Signatures, top grade turntable with a Dynavector 10x5, REL t7 sub. When I replaced the Sony with a rebuilt 9010 my vinyl right away sounded different. It was kind of amazing. The difference was so marked even my wife commented on the tremendous boost in quality.
If I hadn't heard it with my own ears I would not have thought substituting in the Sherwood would make such a marked difference. This is a helluva machine & never pass up the opportunity to buy one.

I'm basing my rating on the S-110 which seems to be identical in all aspects that I can see. Two phono inputs, 3 sets of speakers, plus 3 speaker combo settings. The sound is wonderful and the build is superb. Mine is all original and everything works like new and has for years since I've owned it. I've owned several Marantzes including 2230 and 2270 and kept this one over them.Just too good to give up.
