No FM stereo in mine, FM in mono fine. Common problem, said to be bad MPX circuit, no fix.

Good looks. Sounds nice with efficient speakers. Not hi end but nice for a low cost.

Love my STR-6036A. Plays larger than its stated watts/channel. I have 3 pair of 90+ db speakers and it drives them effortlessly. 3 sided wood case. The green dial glow vs a black backround and silver face is nice. It has a very sensitive FM tuner. They may not get the respect of low wattage Marantz/Pioneer units but also don't carry the high price tag on the secondary market. If I had to pick a negative it would be the lightweight but yet attractive knobs.
