The last F5xxES with large Sanken BJT outputstages.
Nice poweramps ,healthy power supply and the same
phonoamp you find in every F4xx/F5xx/FA3 model.
Basicly its a good amp for high level sources and decent
for phono but its an afterthought compared to what was
build in the age of JFET`s. Cheap lytics and a non-DC
build is a waranty for no good aging ability. Still this amp
is better than the later FA3/FA30. Renovated and upgraded
with a better opamp in the phonosection a good sounding
and relativly cheap ES-Amp from Sony`s golden era in the
late eighties,early nineties.
