re: X-300R

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use the auto replay function on this as I don't have the owner's manual and wanted to use this function. I know how to push the button, but what do I have to do to the home made recorded tape?

re: X-300R

Hi there
you need self adhesive foil tape stuck to the end of the recording tape where the leader attaches either inside or outside depending on where the sensor is its usually inside on 7" decks( BASF and AGFA tapes have switching foil already attached ) then set it to auto reverse this should work and the guide pins need to be clean !! there are copper reels of tape on ebay which do not ooze adhesive and are cheap ,i use these myself .

Can you provide a link to the item so I can find it please.
