re: RS-M224

The M224 is subject to problems with the VU-meter needle going nuts and pegging full power over and over when trying to enter play mode. The fix for this is to thoroughly clean the tape switches and mechanical linkages with Deoxit (or similar). The fix has worked for me. No other problems and a $10 pickup at Goodwill.
