Uher 1000 Report Pilot
Specifically designed for sound and film synchronization, the Uher 1000 Report Pilot tape recorder is another fine professional AC/DC battery operated unit in the widely accepted Uher 4000 series.
Engineered and designed with the reporter and movie cameraman in mind, its light weight construction (7 lbs) is a boon to those whose profession makes the use of weighty and bulky equipment customary.
Each Uher 1000 is delivered with complete sets of frequency response curves and a calibration curve of the Photo Electric Automatic Level control.
The guaranteed frequency response of 20-20,000 cps at its single speed of 7 1/2 ips makes this full track, transistorized portable tape recorder the one to use when there is no margin for error and where dependability to get it right the first time is of prime importance.
The Uher 1000 is fully climatized to withstand effects of temperature extremes without operation falter or humidity damage.
Like its distinguished predecessor, the Uher 4000 series, it is finished in a rugged metal housing of dark gray enamel with brushed chrome piano keyboard styled controls for fingertip action.
Combined with rugged construction and positive performance are such features as: interruptable automatic Photo Electric Level Control, interruptable overload fitter, test button for Pilotone level, test button for battery condition, monitoring off the tape, continuous stroboscopic speed control, built in monitoring speaker, adjustable playback and record equalization (CCIR or NARTB).
All the old world craftsmanship combined with space age technology that has made the Uher 4000 series the constant companion of many VIPs is incorporated and enhanced in the newest Uher portable recorder, the 1000 Report Pilot.
