Description

The Yamaha CA-1000 features an ultra-low distortion, pure complementary, all stage direct-coupled OCL main amp with switch-over possibilities between class A and class B operation.

Yamaha CA1000 amplifier part

Am looking to find a KC0008 HC-2p 12vdc relay which is located on the powerboard of this amplifier. If anyone can tell me a number or location to find it, I would be immensely grateful. This part clicks and doesn't let the amp start up. I'm hoping that finding a new one will work out.

Are you sure it´s a relay and not electrolytic capacitors ??? This amp is almost 40 years old and it´s time to change for fresh one high quality capacitors. Otherwise theres problems after all - like burning transistors. One amp burned its power transformer ! Its not a oversized . You must change for fresh electrolytic capacitors - and use those 105*C ones.
