Ortofon
Danish HiFi manufacturer which currently specialises in the design and manufacture of stereo phono cartridges.
Ortofon started life in 1918, the brainchild of two Danish engineers, Axel Petersen and Arnold Poulsen. They pioneered putting sound onto film and later founded the Electrical Fonofilms Company, latterly Ortofon.
