Description

The TX-9800 RF amplifier 2-stage front end incorporates a 5-gang variable capacitor and three dual gate MOS FETS.

A capacitance controlled double tuned circuit is inserted between the RF amplifier stages.

Those features produce impressive characteristics such as an IHF sensitivity of 8.8dBf, a spurious response of over 110dB and an image interference ratio of over 120dB.
