Personal and private listening is yours. Whether you are listening to 2-channel or 4-channel music, the music is yours alone. Instead of having one plug like conventional headphones the 5944 headphones has two; one for the front channels and one for the rear channels. Each ear piece contains two earphones, what you've really got is a pair of stereo headphones built as one unit.
