Bad intermittent /arcing int. speaker sel.on/off switch
Submitted on June 5th, 2009 by rocknbobI realize this is a common problem with these type switches on Kenwoods of this era. any known fixes? It seems I arced the entire FM dial out , while the signal strength and center tuning still work fine...in addition to the stereo light ....any suggestions are welcome!

If you trace the power wires back to the board with the fuse on it, you will find two posts that can be tied together to by-pass the switch.
