High quality british made CD player.

Description

The 506 mk1 had the same CDM/4 swing arm laser as the 200 series players, an LED segment display and 18-bit D/A convertor.

Later versions used a modified version of a Philips linear tracking laser sled and have a dot matrix LED display and either 20bit or 24bit converters.

Review

Refreshingly styled player with smooth, detailed delivery which is punchy and powerful too. Gives an insightful, convincing view of music.
