Solid-State AM/FM Stereo Tuner Amplifier

Description

The Sansui Model 8 features a high sensitivity front end utilising 3 expensive, low noise, dual-gated metal oxide silicon (MOS) FETs along with protector diodes for it's RF amplifiers and one mixer amplifier.

It also has a three IC amplifier for the heart of it's tuner section and a sharp cutting Multiplex carrier leak filter.

Other features include an FM muting switch and adjuster, an FM Linear scale, two large tuning meters and a FET AM tuning circuit.
