Tannoy Berkeley

Smaller version of the Tannoy Arden featuring the same 15" HPD 385A driver with Girdacoustic reinforced cone, but mounted in an 84 x 54 x 31" real wood veneer cabinet.

Description

This system provides high power and sensitivity in a compact enclosure where insufficient space is available to accommodate the Arden.

The dual ducted port gives a bass response remarkable for the enclosure size and the loudspeaker unit is front recess mounted to ensure smooth extended treble.

The HPD integrated drive system consists of a direct radiator bass unit and a high frequency compression driver, both located concentrically within the same frame and magnet assembly.

The Berkeley is braced internally to reduce spurious resonances which can occur in large panel areas.
