Akai GX-4000D Power Supply Input Voltage

I own an Akai GX-4000D Stereo Tape Deck (Reel To Reel).

On the rear, where the power cord enters into the cabinet, the following is typed:

"AC 110/120/220/240V; 50/60HZ; 41W".

This suggests to me that the unit has a switcheable power supply and therefore can be used in both Europe and North America.

What is confusing is that there is another block with the typing:

"CAUTION: THIS MACHINE IS PRESET TO INDICATED POWER SOURCE,
AND MUST NOT BE USED IN OTHER AREAS.
IN CASE OF USE OUTSIDE OF INDICATED POWER SOURCE AREA, KINDLY CONSULT OUR SERVICE SHOP FOR NECESSARY CONVERSION".

Is the second block printed on all units, regardless of the power supply inside?

In other words, am I correct in presuming that I can use my unit in both Europe and North America without doing any conversion?

As an aside, I downloaded the Service Manual from hifiengine (thanks), and it shows 3 types of power supply boards, but there seems to be no information about modifications for use with different input voltages.

Is there a member who can confirm that my unit does not require any conversion?

Stu.

VARIABLE POWER

THINK U DON'T REQUIRE ANY CONVERSION BECAUSE MACHINE ITSELF HAS A VARIABLE POWER SOURCE.
