Denon turntable running slow

I bought an old Denon DP 7 F turntable, direct drive -- but it runs too slow. The bearing is supposed to be sealed and lubricated for life, so is there anything I can try or is this table headed for the dumpster? Thanks!

Thanks! I don't see a plug on top, but I'll get underneath later. Maybe I can save the old Denon.

All direct drive turntables had adjustments for both 33 1/3 and 45rpm. These adjustments were sometimes hidden under a rubber plug on the top of the turntable so that they could be adjusted while you had the turntable turning (measure speed using a stobe disk, or the strobe on the outside of the platter) If you can't find them looking at the top, remove the bottom cover, and look to see where there is a circuit board that has 2 small adjustment potentiometers.
