how to connect speakers to a receiver with a single input for each speaker?

So I found a sony hme-228 all in one system at a garage sale. It has 8-track/turntable/receiver all in one. No speakers included. I was very rushed and did not realize the speaker inputs on the receiver were a single female input for each speaker. My question is howcan I connect regular speaker wire? Thanks for any help you can give. The only answers I've seen online thus far say to use an rca cable,, but I don't think it would work in this case since I need a single plug for each speaker.

You could use normal speaker wire, but it would need to be small enough to solder into an RCA plug with the positive wire to the centre pin and the negative to the outer.

Alternatively, just chop the last 6 inches from some old RCA cables and connect to a screw terminal block, solder directly your speaker cables, or buy ready made...

thanks for the help. I'll go with the old RCA cables since I have a ton of them laying around
