leak TL12 plus power amplifier

Hi - I have recently acquired a leak amplifier that has two white cables that are brought out from the base of the amplifier but do not have any component connected ( this is in addition to cable for switch connection ) - looking at wiring diagram they appear to be connected to terminal where R22 would normally be placed - Does anyone have any ideas as to what should be connected here - is it an external resistor and whats the benefit of bringing outside of amplifier base?

Leaks were used extensively in industry as well, so I would check the circuit carefully before powering it up. You can usually tell the industrial units as they have modified blocks on the back, but my two TL25's came from a hospital near Kings Cross and they were stock (thankfully). My second set of TL12's had high ohmage output trannys and strange rear connectors - no idea what they were used for.

Probably used a choke instead of the resistor.

Many thanks for information -do you know if the absence of the choke would explain why I cant get an audio output when I connect up to turntable and preamp ? looking at the wiring diagram I downloaded from hifiengine web site the choke would be connected across the two main capacitors ( C13 and C14)
