Need Help Re-connecting System

DavidC1's picture

Evening Folks,

Either I am getting old or I am old. I at one time when living in Japan I had my system set up and running. When I returned to the "World" I had to place the system in storage until 1 month ago when I decided I now had both the time and space to give it a proper location. The components each power up without any humming or such so I am confident they are in good working order as I left them on for about 96 hours without and issue. I will admit a mea cupela I didn't write down the way it had been connected and I can't for the Life of me remember how I had it connected....!!!! Here is what I have:

SAE - 2800 - PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER
SAE - 2400L AMPLIFIER
SAE - 2100L PRE-AMPLIFIER
SAE - 8000 TUNER
TEAC - A-4300 REEL-TO-REEL
ELAC MIRACORD 770H TURNTABLE
NAKAMICHI - CR-1A CASSETTE PLAYER
NAKAMICHI - CD PLAYER 2

any and all help is appreciated.

Regards,

Bluewolf

Re: Need Help Re-connecting System

Bluewolf, might I suggest that since your at sort of a loss on where or how to start connecting all of your audio equipment properly (by the way very nice gear!) back together again, start off by downloading the SAE 2100 Intergrated Amplifier Owners Manual (that is if you don't already have it) and follow all the instruction hookups for all your gear?

That would be your best possibility instead of waiting for someone else to give you step by step instructions?

You can download the Owners Manual right here:

Good Luck!

P.S. if your concerned about how to connect the equalizer, download the Owners Manual for it as well and follow the installation instructions? https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/sae/2800.shtml
