pioneer ES 2000 receiver from 1974

hi all

I'm new to the 'Hifi"obsession

im looking into buying a pioneer ES 2000 receiver , my one problem is that nowhere on the receiver does it state that it can drop to 4ohm .. I have 4ohm bookshelf speakers which I love and I really want to keep using them

do all vintage receivers drop down to 4ohms .. just do add , that there are inputs for 4 speakers at the back of the unit , but it doesn't state anything about going down to 4ohms

any advice would be great

Hard to say if you can use 4 ohm speakers. In the manual it states 8 ohm speakers and nothing else. But, it also says you can use an additional two speakers for the rear channel. If you only use front speakers it may be OK to use 4 ohm.
